1983 gmc sierra wiring diagram

I am looking for a wiring diagram for my husband he had a 1983 GMC sierra and needs a wiring diagram to go from the starter to the alternator. We bought the truck from my uncle and he has all red cables. It is very confusing! Please help I can't find a diagram anywhere. Thank you!

He can buy the haynes repair manule at autozone it has the diagram in it near the back cost $15.00 plus helpful for later problems

I have a 1994 GMC Yukon 2 door, power mirrors are from a 2000 GMC Sierra. Yukon has 4 wires, Sierra has 3. Does anyone know which wires go to which for them to work correctly please?

This is a job for an auto-electrician unless you can read wiring diagrams.
