And the dealership didnt want to help me at all. However when I turn the key to on position no sound of the pump is runnig and so i know the relay is bad. Againn thank you for your time. Hello starryconstr: My name is Roger and I can answer your question. The location of the fuel pump relay is behind the glove box. Once you remove the glove box you will see a relay panel. This should be a 3 relay panel. The relay on the left side should be the fuel pump relay. Please rate the quality of this answer as this is how we know you have received the information you wanted. Thank You for using FixYa. Roger

SOURCE: 1996 Chevy Blazer...where is the fuel pump reset

There is no reset button on the Blazer or any GM cars for the fuel pump. The fuel pump fuse is the same as the ECM fuse at the end of the dash on the drivers side. The relay in in the glove box behind the rely cover at the back of the glove box and i think it's the middle relay out of the three that is the fuel pump relay.

Most likely that's it's going to be a bad fuel pump. The pump is reted to only be good up to 150,000 miles and anything longer then that is borrowed time.

Thank you for using fixya and good luck.

They should be on seperate circuits. Tyour key on and ck to see if you have any fuel flow. Fuel pumps in tanks do **** out. chk to see if you have any fuel flow by loosening a fluel line. No fuel, no pump. good luck

1996 Chevy Blazer won't start unless i add gas to the carb. Turns over fine but won't start.

You could try changeing the fuel filter its located under the drivers door mounted to the frame in the fuel line . But the most likely thing that it could be is the fuel pump. You could check fuse # 9 its a 20 AMP in the fuse box that feeds the relay located in the glove box but on this vehicle even if the relay wore bad the vehicle would still start it would just crank for a longer time . the fuel pump has a beck up power supply also feed from fuse #9 that runs through the oil pressure sending unit. So if its not the fuse its the pump or a bad connection at the pump and that is located inside the fuel tank witch needs to be droped to replace the fuel pumpGood luck with it but this is a common issue with blazers

Location of fuel pump relay 1996 chevy blazer 4.3l

It's in the underhood fuse relay panel near the battery. the lid is marked to show you which one If you think it's bad you can trade it with the fog light relay as it's the same part.

I have a 96' chevy blazer that I replaced a fuel pump and fuel filter..checked all fuses and relays..still will not start..need help please..I tried using starter fluid it ran until it used up the...

Assuming you have everything reinstalled correctly and the fuel pump was your problem to start with, try disconnecting the battery for at least 15 minutes to reset the computer. This worked on my 1996 Blazer.

Where is the fuel pump relay located in a 1997 chevy blazer 4-dr.

In the glove box behind a plastic panel. There are 3 relays in there. The fuel pump is the one closest to the drivers side.

Where is my fuel pump relay on a 1996 chevy blazer? I changed out my fuel pump and the blazer still will not start

Its in the fuse panel under the hood the cover will tell you where it's located. You also may need to replace the crankshaft speed senser,if it's gone the relay won't work.If you listen and hear no fuel pump running when the key is first turn on then it may be a relay issue or the wireing to the fuel pump.
