Started ran 10 minutes to warm up then it just cut off now wont start, it turns over but that's it
Is this diesel or petrol.if diesel then look to your fuel pump.under it is a plug .remove this and drain what will be water on the bottom of it.only a small amount then refit.now pump the fuel up to it is very hard .then get someone to turn the engine over .as you keep pumping should then start.that is done due to air in the system. if petrol you need a spark plug tester.check the coil has a spark .then check the leads at the spark plugs are getting a spark .then check the plugs for a spark .smell them .do you smell fuel on them .if so change the plugs.
Testimonial: "son went and checked it, it starts if you spray carb cleaner in but cuts off as soon as you stop spraying. sounds like fuel pump is running so replaced fuel filter. still wont start. ( it is getting spark)"
SOURCE: car will turn over but wont fire/start.
could be a problem with the MAP sensor. I have a 93 escort and it had a simalar prob and it was just a dirty map sensor. I cleaned it and it is running exelent now.
SOURCE: , will not start, no pressure in tank,
If the pump runs check the fuel pressure it could also be the fuel pressure regulator
SOURCE: I started my car this morning, let it run for
The car should be storing a trouble code bring the car to an Auto zone auto parts store they will run a free code check this will point you in the right direction, I don't like to speculate this results in uneccessary cost to you, if I had to guess it would be a crankshaft sensor is bad or ignition related.
Testimonial: "Thanks for the information. I willCheck it out."
SOURCE: tried to start the truck---nothing
sounds like a bad connection,it wont heat up the solenoid or the starter, check your hot and negative cables from battery to starter first could be the starter itself, ggod luck
SOURCE: Changed oil and filter, started vehicle, ran good
