1. bad fuel, now filters are bad. , water in fuel or worse./
2. clogged air filter.
3. injectors clogged.
4. newer diesels, have EFI sensors that can be bad.
5. injection pump bad or messed with and fails.
6. engine compression fails. (a test)
7. tank lift pump bad,
8. and more but no engine or year told.

$$$, turbos are not inexpensive. Get several estimates, as they can significant differences depending on experience.

Hi my advice is stay away from peugeot 1.6 diesel they are a very troublesome they are used in citeron peugeot ford Volvo Mazda they are noted for engine managment and electrical problems. Regards Jim...

Check egr valve system, check turbo boost solenoid, is it hot ? It should be war but not hot. Check turbo waste gate. Remove the black assy that hold the butterfly valves inside that the turbo air hoses connect onto to and make sure they work by sucking on the tubes to activate them, they are sring opened or closed and the engine vacuum system opens or closes them.

I am sorry but we have no way to cross reference that information, contact the MB dealer parts dept to verify, but off the top of my head i would say no, the Germans would not make it that easy.

any citroen/peogeot dealer (they are the same company)will be able to supply, on exchange, the injectors.if you are in Europe its easy, outside Eurpoe its best to email a dealer with the chassis no,so they can ship them to you.you may find them cheaper than buying them from a U.S.dealer.

yes these suffer bad on faulty turbos, i think yours is dead, let me know how u get on.
i know they carbon up inside which stops the oil getting in, really u need another oil change between servicing.

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.
