Crv windshield washer freezes up - 2006 Honda CR-V

Read through these instructions. They go over the front then the rear motor replacement.

When the temperature gets below freezing and you use a bargain windshield washer fluid or plain water, it freezes and won't work. I normally drain every drop, not just add to what's already in there, and refill with Prestone yellow windshied washer fluid that has a lower freezing point.etort

For front windshield, the hoses are usually easy to locate and replace. This is cheap hose so replace it. Other issues are that the spray nozzles can freeze if you don't have correct fluid in them. Most of these can also be replaced, but this may be harder depending on the location. I don't know on your car, but many modern cars have these attached to the wiper arms, so it may be very easy.

It can do harm to seals (the alcohol in washer solvent) I'd flush cooling system and refill w/ new anti freeze.

There is fluid rated for colder temps than -20,switch to that and if needed they do sell windshield washer fluid heaters for really cold temps.
If all is good but the washer sprayers like to freeze,and if they are mounted on the hood,wire an 1157 bulb under the hood at each sprayer,the heat from each bulb should keep them unfrozen.

there is no problem just drain the system down run the ****** dry then place winter washer in it as it only freezes at -40 not 0 so there is still water in the system or there is summer fluid in there

Well you can pour hot water in the resivor, and when it melts, make sure you use it, till it runs dry...And then make sure you put the proper windshield washer fluid in the resivor...Do not add any water...because your typical fluid will not freeze...but when you add water, it will freeze...

check the fuse if its good ,you need a washer pump
