That would be two different circuits. The tail lights go thru the headlight switch, and the turn signals are on the turn signal switch. You can register on AutoZone.com and use their free repair books, or look for the diagrams online. I may be able to post a part of one diagram or the other here.
Check the ground wire for the affected circuits , Looking at wiring diagrams to see if these thing's share a common ground point . www.ALLDATAdiy.com will have the tail lights wiring diagram, it is a pay site, I have looked high and low for a free diagram for you, can't find any on the internet.
