Hard to start, dies, missing out, hesitation, low rpm take off missing out

First thing in the morning it has to turn over probably 6 or 7 times to start. At low idle it hesitates sometimes when i go to take off like its choked up. At low idle barely moving you stomp the gas and it doesnt accelerate. When passing at wide open throttle fron 2nd to 3rd gear aroun 4000 rpms it chokes out and you must let off the gas. Now it barely started other day, rough idle, touch gas and it died. started back up then it rough idled, died and will not start back. Been going on and off for 6 months

Fuel filter clogged, weak or faulty fuel pump. Have fuel pressure checked, if its ok, then check igniton coil or module.

The ck engine light should not be ignored, what sensor was shown to be bad ? Have it scanned again and replace the sensor that is bad if it still runs rough you might want to consider a tune up. Plugs, wires, fuel and air filter's and clean the throttle body with some gumout. It could also be the IAC motor Idle Air Control. Good Luck

Check timing of the engine is right using an engine timing light. Make sure the timing belt or chain isn't worn or slack. The head gasket could also have gone and may need replacing.

The idle is set too low, the alternator is not charging enough, poor battery connection, filthy throttle body, dirty air filter are some of the most common causes of stalling at lower rpms.

1992 Ford F250 Truck with start and idle problem

Could be many things, Check the EGR valve and make sure its not stuck open, Oil pressure low is probably due to rough idle or low RPM. Also may have restricted cat converter.

Missing? and fuel problem

You probably have one plug not firing. First, check all your plug wires to make sure the boot is pushed on all the way. If there is no improvement, you can pull one plug wire off at a time (with the engine running). If the engine doesn't die, or change when you pull a plug wire off, that will be your bad plug. It should change drastically when you pull a wire. Be sure to use a spark plug wire puller, or a heavy rubber glove. Check for spark in all your wires with a timing light.
If there aren't any dead plugs or wires, the next thing to check is the timing. Aim a timing light at the timing mark on the crank. If the mark jumps around a lot, the timing belt or chain has jumped, and will need to be replaced.
If that checks out okay, the next thing to do is a compression test. You may have bad valve.

Car dies

Your 94 should be a 350 engine,is it?
That would be a timing chain, which means the distributor cap was removed to locate cylinder 1,
Your high rpm in neutral, and low rpm in gear sounds like a vacume leak,The turn signal problem I'm not sure because you didn't say if the battery is going dead or if it starts right back up.

Take it over to a Auto Zone store they advertize that they will read the diagnostic cods for free. with the check engine light on there are codes logged in the cpu. the codes will point you in the direction to go. this will save you lots of time.

my truck didn't do the crazy idling so much but it was running a little rough before it finnally died. it just wouldn't start back up. i changed the fuel filter i could hear the fuel pump working i finnally pulled a spark plug out and realized it wasn't getting spark. after hooking a computer module up under the dash it told me that the camshaft position sensor was out. the sensor is integrated into the distributor therefore you have to change the distributor to replace the sensor. hope this helps some, i'm actually trying to fix mine tomarrow
