Using a plastic trim tool, remove the aluminum piece on the door handle and the two bolts underneath. (T15 I believe.)
: Using same trim tool, remove the plastic trim behind door handle and remove screw using same T15 as before.
Step 3: Same trim tool again, remove the door panel, bottom to top and lift off of the window channel. Watch for the metal clips to fall. Some will. Two go on the door panel and two go on the door itself.
there are screws you have to remove. make sure you've found and removed all of them. then the door is held in with clips from the back side. work a pry bar or a long flat screw driver around the edges to pop them loose then you should be able to get your hands behind it to find the other clips. in some cases the handles have to come off before the panel can be removed
You need to remove the panel and access the window operating mechanism to see what's going on. Sounds as if the hardware holding the glass to the track has come loose. You should also have a maintenance manual (e.g. Chilton) that depicts such mechanisms if you want to DIY your car.
