SOURCE: i hear a swishing water sound under my dash what

the ac drain is clogged. you need a compressor with a air nozzle blow it in the drain to loosen the problem. the drain os usally on the fire wall. look at where the wet spot was in the summer on the ground it will be someplace above the spot

SOURCE: can hear water swishing in the rear of my crx delsol

Remove the spare tier and you should see a plastic drain plud in the floor pan that you can remove, worse comes to worse drill your own hole[make sure you not going to come out somewhere where it will do damage like fuel tank or brake line wireharness ect].

SOURCE: When it rains i can

there is a drain for rain water and the A/C. put it up on a lift and run a long pipe cleaner in and out of it. they get plugged and this will not be a new procedure to the shop where you take it. you could do this at the same place that changes your oil as they will be under it anyway.

SOURCE: I hear water swishing around in my grand prix

sounds like it could be around the air conditioner coil. The drain is probably stopped up.

I hear water slossing around passenger side dash area

The water condensate drain for the AC evaporator core is plugged, clear the drain. The water drain is on the passenger side at the base of the engine firewall/bulkhead you must raise the car to see and access it, it is a little tube about 3/8" in diameter. Use a wire coat hangar

Swishing noise in dash when turning

If you have air conditioning and are using it, you could be hearing water in the bottom of the HVAC box behind the dash. The drain tube could be plugged up.

2008 scion Xbox is dripping water on fron floorboard on both sides. Problem seems to have become obvious at the same time as both grinding sound in dash area associated with mostly slow left turn as well...

the drain pipe is blocked on the bootom of the heater unit is the AC condenstae drain and it runs out through the firewall in most vehicles ,if you not sure then ask a local mechanic to have a look and i doubt if they wilkl even charge you as its such a simple job ,dead algae is the main culprit i suspect or a damaged pipe end??

Where is the air conditioning drain hose for a 2003 Mitsubishi eclipse

It’s in the hardest place to reach they could put it. Get under your car and follow the firewall near the center. You'll see a small hose poking out that you can barely reach with an air hose wand. Debris often plug the drain hose. If you hear water sloshing on the passenger side in the dash and/or the passenger side carpet is soaked, blow air through the drain tube to unblock it. Also the grommet around the hose there at the firewall can deteriorate and let condensed water blow back into the driver’s side floor pan. With a lot of effort you can pack silicon sealant around the drain tube at the exiting firewall location and solve that problem. With real effort you can place silicon around it from the interior also. If you don't have a compartment filter or your filter is old and ineffective, you'll be amazed at how much debris sets on your condenser coil down there in the center of the dash (if your airflow is less than you remember and not as cold, the condenser coil is likely covered in debris)...and it's almost impossible to clean it out without disassembling the dash. That's another story on how to fix...

Can condensation collect causing a swish sound?

Yes it can, there is a drain for the ac box,on the outside under the firewall, that is stopped up,use a small weak wire to unclog it or air pressure.

Water in the dashboard Porsche Cayenne

I have been hearing and experiencing some sort of reservoir of water swishing around in the passenger side of my 2004 Cayenne. The carpet is soggy and there is evidence of moisture intrusion when I open the doors. There is a film of moisture on around the lower door jams. Of course Porsche is nowhere to be found in this discussion. My beautiful car is now a camel and I can not findc a descent explanation anywhere. Your post is the closest thing I can find. And did the "garage" charge you to extract the five buckets of water? The folks at Porcsche have no idea and no one else has "had" the problem. WTF?
