SOURCE: Need to replace passenger side outside mirror for 2005 Honda CRV

You'll have to remove the plastic cover (from inside the vehicle), there there are three 10mm bolts that hold the base onto the door.

SOURCE: 2006 Honda CRV Passenger both Low & High beams out (bulbs good)

Well I suspect that you may have developed a problem in what's called the Multiplex unit. It's an integral part of the fuse box in Honda CR-V's. It's possible that the cargo trailer caused the problem by causing too much current to be drawn thru the system, I have a similar problem with my 2002 Honda CR-V and have been told I need to replace the multiplex unit and they are quite expensive. You may have to bite the bullet and have it checked by your nearest Honda Dealer.

A fuse box will be in one of the following places depending on car and model:

  • Part of the lower dash (near knees) (driver or passenger)
  • On the side of the dash where the dash meets the door (driver or passenger)
  • The kick panel right beside the door (driver or passenger)
  • Part of the main console near your feet (driver or passenger)

SOURCE: passenger side power window does not go down

Electric window motor seized. Those motors have internal copper brushes that usually lock after time. Some times a quik test is to get to the motor and tap it with a wrench while pressing the switch to get it unseized. ( Not a fix ! ... still needs replaced ).

SOURCE: My 2003 Honda CRV ...drivers side door does not

you may need to replace the door locking actuator, they do tend to go bad over times. does the driver side door lock automatic when using the lock button on the driver side. if you can lock and unlock the driver side door with a switch, my guess would not be the locking actuator, it might be in the remote locking module.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the help. everything relates back to the actuator.."

Honda crv 2012 heat on driver side doesn't get hot but passenger side does

Just got my 2012 CRV out of the Honda shop yesterday; it blew cold air out the vents while the engine was completely warmed up.
Honda has a service bulletin on it; the heater core must be flushed several times (there's a flush kit that Honda has provided).
After the flushing, I had all the heat I ever needed.
The REAL problem is this: Honda or the dealer can't tell what the cause of no heat. Is it corrosion/air pocket/bad anti-freeze???
Asked the dealer to inspect the bottom of the bucket when they flushed it if there is debris. "Well, the water is swirling around the bucket, so we couldn't see any debris".

Water leak in the front passenger area of 2003 Honda crv

check that the drain hose for the a/c is still connected and drains to the outside of the vehicle normally in the engine bay. sometimes it becomes kinked or blocked and so the water overflows into the passenger side of the car

Heater only blows hot air thru one vent - all other vents blow cold air

This is my best guess with out knowing the year of the vehicle.
If you have a climate control system, ( driver's side, and passenger side heat & a/c setting ), you likely have an issue with the blend door being stuck, or a bad actuater, ( this moves the blend door )

If you do not have a climate control system, you likely have a trap/flapper door sticking, or some blockage in the duct work.

I hope this helps you.

Taillights

Have you checked the fuse for the tail lights which should be located on the side of the dash behind an access panel on either the drivers side or passengers side. If you open the door you should see the panel.

Tow truck driver used tools to open right passenger door on my 2002 honda crv. now the only window that works is the drivers side windows--windows are electric

Well this is the reason why tow truck drivers are supposed to open a vehicle from the passenger side. Because sometimes when you put a tool in the door you might snag a wire and pull it loose from the connection. If this happened on the drivers side it would make it a lot more difficult to get in and out of your vehicle.
Now if the company that did this is local take it back to them and they will take off the door panel and fix the issue. If this was done under a roadside assistance policy and you have difficulties with the tow company then just get hold of your roadside assistance company and handle it through customer assistance.
they hold the company's purse string and it will get taken care of.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hopefully this happened recently because nobody like to have someone come back a year after it happened asking for something to be fixed.
