I recently replaced the battery in my 2010 Mazda 5, and now the 6-CD changer will not operate. When I start the car, or turn the key to "On", the changer sounds like it's trying to eject or load a disc, but then I get a "CD Error" message. I've got 6 CDs stuck in the unit, and I can't play or eject any of them. Any suggestions?

I just acquired the same problem. I tried to put a new CD in and it wouldn't take it. I ended up pushing it in when I was trying to get it back out and now it won't play the CD, or eject it. I think it could be stuck between tracks, but they want $188 to look at it and fix it even if it is a simple fix. I am looking for suggestions also, Diane
If you have a genuine unit it may be connected to the CPU or need resetting after the battery change.
Testimonial: "It's the factory unit. Any idea on how to reset it? I tried taking the fuse out but that didn't work. Another suggestion was to disconnect the battery then reconnect, and I guess I'll try that, but I don't have much hope since that's what caused the problem in the first place."

the latch inside of the cd player is broke or the ejecter is out sale it fast

I would first try removing the fuse to the radio/cd player, see if that resets the system and get the cd out.
Hope this helps some.
