I have a 95 Caprice Classic and the car runs and drives great. Yesterday while leaving work i pur it in gear and the car died. No power what so ever. Waited for a while it gained power, started and I drove home. This morning it started up, ran great and once I put her in gear she died losing all power once more. Could it be a bad ground?

Sounds like battery cable is no longer connected to the battery post clamp. These can be repaired but I would recommend a new cable or cables. Parts store can ook up correct ones. Be sure battery terminals are clean before installing new cables.
under the dash connected to your steering colon and it is white, when you press your brake pedal you should feel and ear a click-click, that' your NSS , working ,you should not be able to move out of gear if it is working correctly !.
what would cause 95 chevy caprice to not reverse, but change out in all other gears perfectly. how much will it cost to put transmition in 95 chevy caprice?
Just guessing but is there a security system in htis car?
Being a 95 it may have a factory security, the key does it have a chip built in?
You can bypass and use a regular key,
if none of these apply check idle air,
Had a similar problem with my '85 Caprice Classic with the 305cc. Turned out to be a bad throttle body gasket on the carborator. It was "sucking" in too much air. Replaced it and haven't had any trouble now for months.
