Both Tail ights are out. fuse is fine. dont know whay it would do this.
Check your ground wires on the light make sure they are tight back there where the lights are.. and make sure the bulbs are tight in the socket ..The year of this vehicle is not old enough for it to be a big problem.. unless someone tampered with the wiring ..

I too have a 2001 cavalier and all the lights work except backup/tail lights. The ones that are connected to the trunk of the car. All the fuses are good, tried other bulbs and still nothing. They worked fine then 2 days ago i was driving behind my wife and seen no tail lights. I have tried everything it seems. I hope someone may be able to help. :'(
