Sounds like the switch has shorted out inside. The only fix for this is a new switch. But first look at the wiring on the back of the switch to make sure they are not crossed and causing the light to stay on. Good luck.

some cars has a light interior adjuster and when turning all the way leave the interior light on all the time check that out should be around your light switch
Check for a faulty switch inside the door jam. If the switch is broken or pushed into the holder, it will not open the circuit thus the light will stay on. You may have to remove the bulb until you have time to replce the switch. Good luck
either you have a door switch thats stuck or bad, suggest until you figuer out which, remove the bulb from interior lighr that stays on,a push button may have gone bad or simply stuck in on position. removing the bulb will stop the battery drain, but will have no inside light from that bulb when you remove it. the plastic cover on that light should just pop out with a straight screw driver when pryed open from one side or other of plastic cover. look for an indentation or slot on side of plastic cover to remove that cover. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
The signal flasher is within the emergency flasher. It will usually make a lot of clicking noise when faulty though. Check all the bulbs on the car for proper operation. Good luck!
