95' jetta? You mean Vento? I knew that jetta was untill '91 (A2) then after '99. If Jetta A2 (with the common known external door handle issue, same as on golf, polo mk1, mk2 )
External handle:
Remove the chrome/plastic trim from the middle of the handle, you will find a screw there. Also, on the opened door, above the lock mechanism you will find another, bigger screw. unscrew both of them end pull out the handle.
Internal handle: Remove plastic trim from the middle, in the two end are 2 screws, unscrew-it and the handle comes off
Outer or inner door handle?

You'll see a small ring on the inside of the crank where it meets the panel. That ring holds the crank in place. To remove the handle simple push the ring up and the handle will slide right off. Depending on the position of the crank the ring might have to be pushed up down or sideways. Hope that helps.

the only way you will find this out is to have a diagnostic machine plugged in and the fault memory read to check what fault is logged, it could be anything from a ABS wheel speed sensor to a control module fault, to save money in the long run i would advise you get the fault memory read first. hope this helps
