Yesterday the Jeep ran perfectly fine. We had a hard freeze last might. This morning I warm it update 15 or so minutes get in and put it into reverse but the Jeep would not move. It won't go into drive either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Check the condition of the tranny oil on the dipstick. If it's black and smelly, the tranny clutches might be worn out. Make sure you have enough fluid in there first. Check the fluid with the car engine running and the tranny in park. The level should be between the 2 marks.

No, not with out a lot of work. Electronics are most likely different on the 2 also.

HI, It may seem obvious, but sometimes overlooked.... have you checked the oil level, as low oil can cause some strange things to happen! My 96 4 liter would be reluctant to move sometimes, but after I topped it up, it has been fine.

This could be an issue with the shift solenoid , but can also be caused by low fluid due to a leak, check your fluid. Is there a check engine light on, if there is it could be a solenoid issue.
