I turn the truck on and the air blows at a high speed when I turn the truck off the air blows out of the window defrosters only way to make it stop is to disconnect the battery

I changed my switch..on my dash...that controls the different settings. All settings work fine now.

Your blower moter is under your glovebox and very easy to replace.I dont think thats your ploblem.I would pull off the dash.It will snap right off without breaking anything.Then pull out the part that holds the selector switch for the fan speed.Then you unplug that switch.Clean the copper contacts.Plug it back in.If everything works again like it should and did in my truck then it is either that switch that is bad or the wiring harness.I would replace that switch.

Is it a new vehicle? I had a new vehicle that had the same problem. Answer was that the holes weren't punched out of the vent.

Same car, same problem. Press MODE, FRONT and REAR buttons together to reset tempreture. You probably need to replace the sensor GM part number 15047946 it is in the front grill email me for a picture. [email protected]

Turn the car off Crank the car turn ac on drivers side to 60 passenger side to 90 press auto wait 1 minute turn AC off (very important) turn car off turn car back on switch driver's side 90 passenger 60 press auto wait one minute turn AC off( very important) turn car off turn car on AC 70 both sides press auto your ac should be blowing cold If not, you have an expensive problem
