Truck making noise after replacing water pump, think i may have put belt back on wrong

What happened here?
I am currently trying to remove star bolt holding tensioner on, it is not budging. I'm guessing from this post I will not get an answer anytime soon.

The T45 fit, then T50, I am going to go find a T55 and T60 I suppose.

I am definitely wondering if I am doing something wrong with this one bolt holding me back from 4 more to replace water pump.

It all depends on whether anyone sees questions and if anyone is qualified to answer or wants to try. I try most. Did you consider the bolt might be a left hand thread? Look at the normal rotation, this should tighten the bolt not undo it.

look under truck and see if anything is wrapped around drive shaft also if looks good u joints may be going bad also check the center bearing and bracket its a support hanger bearing for driveshaft

Hi Brett, First check both bulbs, making sure they have not burned out. Second check the fuses and if all else fails check and replace the stalk switch if required. Regards John

Not directly related just time for the pump to go. It has to do with the engine running so long with the old belt tension then a little extra tension when one readjust the belts on the pump and the seal wears. NOW if he did not put the gaskets back new or if he did not clean off the old gaskets before he installed new. That would be his fault. Loose bolts or broken bolts thats his fault. Look for a lot of gasket glue. Too much glue can cause a coolant leak. Look close for these signs. If the pump is leaking from the weep hole, it just is worn out.

Try testing the brake switch (it is behind the brake pedal) for 12V and continuity between wires when engaged. You can also try checking the brake light relay. It is located on the fuse block.

Step 1 torque to 59 ft pounds
2. Loosen one full turn
3. 37 ft pounds
4. 68 ft pounds

Use torque sequence below

if you have no antifreeze on the ground, your header is cracked. Its not the water pump. Does your oil look unusually brown instead of black? or are there foamy deposits on the dipstick?

unhook negitive battery cable and wait 2 minutes then unhook positive cable and wait 2 minutes then reverse order. should clear codes. or simply remove ecm fuse for 2 minutes and put back in.
