2005 Murano windows open by themselves

2005 Murano and from time to time, totally unexpected....will come back to car and one or more windows are down. I usually lock the doors with the keyless remote control. Most of the time, the button is pushed to lock the windows to keep little fingers from opening the windows. Can anyone tell me what causes this????

I had that happen too and found out that if you hold the unlock button down on your FOB for about 4-5 seconds then it will roll down the front windows. It's actually a feature, not a problem. You may have accidentally mashed something up against the FOB while it was in your pocket and you were within range of the car. That's what I did. Freaked me out the first time I walked out in the driveway and both front windows were down and I know I didn't leave them open.

Erik W was right! Hold the unlock button down for a few seconds and down go both of the from automatic windows. Be careful that when you put your key less fob in your pocket that it is not touching anything that could activate the unlock button. THANKS ERIC !!!!!

I got the same problem, both front door rolled down unexpected. First I thought some thing is shorted in master window control switch. I tried to check the short out but didn't find anything shorted in master window. I finally figured out one of my two key fob control did not work when trying to lock/unlock. I bought new key fob and re-programmed them. Since then I wait for the problem above happen again. But it same is been fixed. If both of your key fobs still working. Just try to re-programmed them again. There is a link how to re-programm key fob in this forum.

How do i reset my check engine soon light 2005 nissan murano

you can buy a code reader from an auto parts store that will give you the ability to reset the check engine light, or most parts stores have one that they use on customers cars at no charge. if you ask them to read which code your car is throwing, most of them will let you hit the button to clear the code. they aren't supposed to do it themselves for some reason, but from my experience they will let you.

Replace rear wiper on 2005 Murano

You probably already figured this out, but you have to remove the wiper arm completely in order to replace the wiper blade.

The blades are an unusual size (somewhere around 14 1/2") and I believe they are only available from a Nissan dealership. They include printed instructions in the box but just in case, this is from the official Nissan service manual:
