Engine would not starting after battery got flat
I have herd of this happening. it is the fuse in the ecu blown. it is a 3.0 model you have as only herd of this happening on this model. you need to take the battery off. and take the ecu out of the engine bay and open it up and change the fuse in the ecu. its soldered down on the board. happens when you try to start the engine with a flat battery. and then dont do the proper battery removal. i. e ignition to number 2 ( battery light on dash) then off to 0 then you have 30 seconds to remove the negative off the battery. better to undo the battery terminal first then do this but with out loosening it to much that it comes off, this is the proper way to remove the battery and not cause faults.

The BECM will retain the EKA code, so , charge or replace the battery. Close all doors, windows bonnet etc, then try the EKA code. You must know, that if you enter the incorrect code or do not enter the code correctly by returning the key to the centre position after each turn of the key , more than 3 times, then the system will lock out and you will have to wait 30 minutes to retry. It should start , but it would be good to get another remote handset, Hope that helps
SOURCE: battery went flat now wont take key code in
key code lock out usually happens when you have entered the wrong code too many times leaving the battery connected should allow the timer to run down for 30 mins so you can try again, it is cumulative though so the more you get it wrong the longer you have to wait. make sure battery is fully charged first.
SOURCE: P0606 code on 2003 Saturn Vue AWD 2.2l check engine light on
Hi there:
P0606 is a internal computer fault. Sometimes extreme hot or cold weather will screw up a computer.
P0606 - PCM / ECM Processor Fault
This code is a fairly simple one. It basically means that the PCM/ECM (powertrain/engine control module) has detected an internal integrity fault in the PCM. When this code is activated it should store freeze-frame data that helps someone with an advanced code scanning tool to get information on exactly what was going on with the vehicle when the P0606 code was triggered.
Most likely the only symptom of a P0606 DTC code is the illumination of the "Check Engine Light" a.k.a. MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp).
Cause: In all likelyhood the PCM / ECM has failed.
Possible Solutions: As a vehicle owner there is little you can do to fix this code. The most common fix for a P0606 code is to replace the PCM, although in some cases re-flashing the PCM with updated software could possibly fix this. Be sure to check for TSB's on your vehicle (Technical Service Bulletins).
In all likelyhood the fix is to replace the PCM. This is generally not a "do-it-yourself" task, although in some cases it may be. We strongly recommend you have a qualified repair shop / technician do the work, one that has the capability to reprogram the new PCM. Installing the new PCM may involve using special tools to program the vehicle's VIN (vehicle identification number) and/or anti-theft information (PATS, etc.).
NOTE: This repair may be covered under the emissions warranty so be sure to check with your dealer as this may be covered beyond the bumper-to-bumper or powertrain warranty period.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.
