I have a 1990 honda prelude manual. it runs just fine but in the mornings when you turn it on it runs for about 15 minutes and then it will turn off and it wont start unless you let some gas drain out of the gas filter. could it be the gas pump???

Hopefully fixed the problem by setting the idle a little higher. I think the IACV is ok.

I woulldn't worry about that fuel too much. Let me know if you have done anything to the motor, i.e., cleaned the spark plugs, checked the oil, water/radiator fluid level...corrosion on the battery. What does it sound like when you try to start it?

They make products to add to the gas...fuel stabilizer for example.

49lbs I believe but it should tell you in the manual or goto a Kragen store and just flip thru a Haydem or Chilton repair book real quick.

I only know about the dipstick for the automatic transmission.
It is located to the passenger side of center and is burried dwon very deep - you almost have to reach full-arms-length down, between hoses and air duct to reach it. It has a wire loop handle usually covered in orange/yellow rubber. All total it is about 6 inches long when removed. It is so hard to find that I thought mine was missing and bought another one before I found it.
