SOURCE: Heat on, blows cold air on passenger side
u will need to repair the passenger side air temp control blend door, either the door is stuck or the small electric actuator that moves it is defective.

I have a 1998 and had the same problem It ended up being the control itsel. I changed the control and it worked.
SOURCE: When turning the heat on cold air blows from the drivers side
the vent hose behind the dash slipped off of the plastic housing.
SOURCE: no heat only cold air
Check coolant level,sounds like air in the system, You can remove majority by taking rad cap off and kneeding the hoses, you should see air bubbles in the coolant, once done the coolant level will drop,do this several times, can normally be done with engine at standstill, but more effective with engine running, but be carefull of fan blades and belts when doing this. Suggest trying with engine stopped
