Likely that the bolts that mount your window to the arm that lifts/lowers the window have rattled lose and are no longer allowing the rod to lift the window. my truck has recently had the same exact problem. may also be the electric motor though. mine are manual widows though but depending on vehicle there may be screws holding your interior door panel/handle on just unsnap the door cover and look inside.

The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.

I had the same issue with the passenger side rear window. I took the panel off (one screw under the window switch and one screw located behind the door handle. There is a small black cover over the screw.) I then took the motor off of the door and track system. After the track was off, I plugged the motor back into the wiring harness and tried the switch. Mine actually worked and the gear spun, if not, it will be a pricey window motor about $150-$250 depending on where you get it. Good luck! Sean

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

sounds like bad window regulator. could also be window switch,or broken wire between door and body
