It overheated due to belt loss. Is one of the belt driven accessories locked up? This will slow cranking down and I have seen cars not start due to this. Try to start with belt removed.
If still no start, then you need to check for fuel and spark.

How to replace a crankshaft sensor in lumina van apv 1995 3.8

It's not really something u can do in your driveway if u don't know much about cars but this will help ya out take off sepentine belt with 15mm wrech at the tensioner take off passenger side tire u will need to take off the crank pully the big one at the very bottom bolt Is roughly a 7/8 head no the bolt u will need a crank pully puller and the sensor will be on the right an u will need a 10 mm socket to remove it good luck

Check the serpentine belt. The belt runs the alternator, water pump and power steering. Make sure the belt is on right and all the accessory like the water pump and alternator is spinning in the direction there supost to be. There should be a sticker under the hood or on the radiator shroud to how the belt is routed through the pulleys. Good luck and keep me posted.

Check the crank sensor probably when you replaced the timing belt you could have either not put the crank signal ring in correctly or damaged the crank sensor.

you will have to get ahold of a book for it or go to a junkyard and find one like yours and get the belt routing decal
