Check the basics. Fuel pressure, spark at plugs, fuses. Post results.

Pickup coil may be going. Some are difficult to change, however, they are cheap. Also, if after replacing you still have a problem, suspect the computer. If you can remove it, open it up and look inside for a burnt computer chip. Don't forget to inspect all small hoses for cracks.

SOURCE: I have a 95 GMC

Hi, you may have a torn fuel pressure regulator diaphram. The diaphram is behind a square cover on the side of the throttle body, that is held in by 4 screws. Take the diaphram out and check it for tears. If no tears, put it back the way you took it out and check your injectors. Can you see them squirting as you pull the throttle? Is the squirt the same for both? Is it a regular pattern or distorted? If you see issues there, you can take them out and try to clean them. If that doesn't work, replace an injector that has a poor or irregular flow pattern. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Rough idle 1994 chevy pick up k1500 4x4

I had a 96 GMC 1500 with a 5.7 ltr. It would idle rough, especially on start up. After replacing everything under the sun, it turned out the ECM (computer) was shot. I found a used one and plugged it in and it ran fine. I think I paid 50 bucks or so for it. If you know someone with a truck like yours, plug theirs in and see if it fixes it.

Engine runing rough

This code is most likely not related to the problem, it sounds like you may have picked up some contaminated gasoline, maybe has water in it or other like dirt.

Engine dies at 150 degrees.

sounds like its not accident related, more like a idle air control motor or something of that nature, ive also herd of this happening when the crank sensor is going bad, it warms up and starts missing the signal.

Idles rough when ac is off when turned on idles fine sounds like a bad miss

when the ac compressor starts the diesel flow will be reduced and so the pick up will be reduced so that the car will be tuned
