Is it in the way of access to the timing belt cover? If so, remove the bolt, and let the engine drop down. You may have to loosen the other Mounts and physically force the engine down. Instead of removing the wheel well, you can drill a 2 inch hole into it, once you see where the timing marks are.

SOURCE: 1999 Honda Accord passengers side motor

there could be a transmission line or power steering line that runs near or over the mount that may be leaking or the motor or tranny depending on witch side the mount is on may be leaking onto the mount also a more closer inspection would be in need.

92 Honda Accord automatic

Hello. Your Honda needs motor mounts; possibly all 3 motor mounts AND a transmission mount(s). Usually bad vehicle motor mounts allows 'vibrations' to be felt. In rare cases, the engine will 'dangle' because motor mounts 'snapped' and there is nothing there to keep it in place. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

I HAVE A 98 HONDA ACCORD. THE CAR SHAKES WHEN I START THE ENGINE AND AT A STOP SIGN. ON THE HIGH WAY THERE NO PROBLEM. WHY ? THANKS

If a motor mounts is wore you will feal vibration from the engine. To check the rear mount check the rubber coated washer on the top of motor mount. The washer should be ubder the flange around the mount's upper edge. The front mount just power brake it while in drive and watch for the engine to jump.

If I put a 1995 honda accord engine in my 1992 honda accord will it fit and hook up up to my wireing harness?

I would put your intake manifold and engine harness on the '95 motor. You may also need your Air Conditioner and mounting bracket. Keep your old motor right beside you and switch anything that is different. Notice the O2 sensor(s), etc.

My 92 honda accord ex as a rough idle at stop and if i put in it reverse the idle is alot rougher. it idle at 750rpm

Typically this a result of bad motor mounts, I had the same issue with my 92 honda accord, changing the side mounts and the strut up front resolved the issue. The Trans mount, behind the motor is the most difficult mount to change and requires you to unbolt the other mounts and roll the motor far enough forward to gain access to that mount, but once all 4 mounts are replaced your issue should be resolved

1992 honda accord ex starts to accelerate on its own at about 40- 50 mph what could be the problem?

Check your engine mounts to make sure they haven't failed. The torque of the engine can, during acceleration, can cause the motor to twist slightly if the motor mount(s) are bad, causing the gas pedal linkage to move, increasing acceleration.

Car shakes when I start it

I'm no expert but it sounds like it could be a bad motor mount and since it's a 91 it could have rotted out cuz i know honda's have rubber in their motor mounts.
