I cannot not find the charge valve for the AC on the low side in my 1999 ford expedition 5.4 liter V8 only the bleed off valve on the high side is readily viewable. Do you know where it is ?

It's close to the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment. You may have to remove the plastic cover that covers the wiring to see it. It is on the black canister (accumulator)

2000 expediton lower ac valve location

The low side ac valve is locate on the filter dryer. Look on the fire wall area on the passenger side on engine compartment. there you will see a can with a switch and valve. that is the low side charging valve. here is a picture of it. hope this is helpful.5_28_2012_10_58_42_pm.jpg

Where can I find a diagram for the low pressure ac port for a 1999 ford expedition

There are 2 hoses that come off of condensor in front of radiator. 1 is high side, has large cap on top goes to a/c compressor. The other is low side it, it goes toward firewall into or on the receiver dryer (looks like big can) You will find the charge fitting there. It is a smaller fitting usually blue or black cap on it.

Where is the low pressure port on a 2001 ford expedition?

The low pressure service port is below all them wires on the right side of the cowl inside and below the battery about valve cover high,it's on the accumulator,you can't see it you have to feel for it,it points toward the valve cover! Biggest Pain Ford ever came up with!! LoL!!

Cant find AC charger in a 1999 frod expedition. V8

look for the large ac line/hose coming from the ac compressor and follow it untill u come to the ac service port , it is the small port.

Location of low side ac port

the low side charging port is near the AC Accumulator/Reciever dryer cannister in the larger of the 2 AC lines.

Cannot find the lower freon input on 1999 expedition

They are coded blue and red. Low side, and High side. It's a plastic cap.

A word of WARNING! If you are attempting to recharge your AC, and do not know what you are doing, SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH can result! Connecting a recharging container to the RED HIGH SIDE can result in rupture/explosion of the cylinder.

THIS IS DEPENDENT ON AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE , THAT IS TEMP OUTSIDE NEED TO GET TEMPERATURE PRESSURE CHART TO DETERMINE THIS NUMBER , ALSO LOW SIDE OR HIGH SIDE , LOW SIDE PRESSURE IS THE ONE I USUALLY USE TO ADJUST CHARGE , BUT AS I SAID IT IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO AMBIENT AIR SO THERE IS NOT A GIVEN NUMBER SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET CHART @ AUTO SUPPLIER OR JUST ASK ONE OF YOUR AC PEOPLE IF THEY CAN MAKE YOU A COPY OF ONE .
