SOURCE: loud clanking noise in or outof gear if the clutch is not engaged

Sounds like a throw out bearing or pressure plate problem. Run it by a trany shop, and they should be able to tell quick and easily if that's the problem.

Hi, when i'm coming off the third and the second gear mainly the 2nd gear it makes a clanking noise

My first thought here is your drive shaft u joints, but only because I've been stranded more than once by these. The higher torque of second will definitely make a worn u-joint "clunk". with the window down listen carefully as you engage and release your clutch in 1st gear, if you here any "clunking" noise I would check your u-joints. To do this SAFELY;ie, using jack stand etc. get under your car and try to turn the drive shaft by hand with the car in gear. ANY play in the drive shaft is bad. I'm not sure if you meant you've changed your clutch and the pressure plate or you did change out you flywheel. either way whichever you did not change could definitely be warped.

1999 chevrolet cavalier standard transmition engage cluch car will start go into gear but will not move what is problem

The clutch pressure plate may have failed or the clutch plate may be worn to the rivets therefore not engaging the transmission. Either of these would be making a loud noise when the clutch is engaged. Another problem could be that the hydraulic fluid is low and not allowing the throwout bearing to engage the clutch. Get underneath the car and have someone push the clutch pedal down and make sure the arm that moves the throwout bearing is moving correctly.

Loud clank from manual tranny

Sounds like you either chipped a tooth of one of the gears or something came loose inside. I would not drive it at all You could make it a whole lot worse if there is a good sized chunk of metal floating around in there. Take it to transmission shop or better yet have it towed!!! If whatever is in there lodges between a couple of the gears you will be spending a lot more money trying to get it repaired. Good luck!

Loud clanking noise in gear if the clutch is not engaged

Almost sounds like a throwout bearing problem. Either way, bring the car back and make them fix it. It will be covered under the warranty so dont let them try to convince you otherwise.
