You need to take the vehicle to a real mechanic. Jiffy lube employes are not mechanics. Change your oil at jiffy lube and get mechanical work done at a reputable auto dealer or mechanic shop.

I took my car to jiffy lube, 2004 dogde stratus, 2.4 l , to get my 02 sensor replaced. Now my ingine light is on the code was PO420. I wonder now if he kept my new sensor and never replaced it with the new...

Alot of times an in effective catalyst code and an O2 sensor code can be set from an engine vacuum leak. Engine sensors can not see a vacuum leak, but they can tell when an engine is running lean and associate it with the emission system. My suggestion is to have your mechanic look for a bad vacuum hose or elbow.

'08 impala SS 25k miles, over speed bumps or dips in road, right rear suspension creaks, rubs, squeaks etc...

I just did one of these in the shop and the problem was the rear sway bar bushings were dry.I removed them and lubed them and the noise went away. One thing you should check is call the dealership and find out you could still be under warranty. The bumper to bumper warranty is 3 years and 36 k miles.I work at a G.M.dealership.If it is not covered then try lubing the bushings.I used Syl Glide.Let me know what you find out or if it took care of the problem.Good luck.

Had a faulty oil filter put in by Jiffy Lube. Low oil pressure light came on after about 2000 miles into oil change. Jiffy Lube stated it was a faulty oil filter and replaced it. Drove off and light...

I can tell you that it sounds like someone is trying to take you for a ride.. I've been a mechanic for 28 years. And I've never heard of o rings going bad on a motor that only has 56000 miles. Change the oil filter again.. make sure that it's not a fram.. gram filters have been known to cause your oil pressure light come on. Hope this helps you.

Check engine light and lost of power

This sounds a lot like a bad TDC (Top Dead Center) sensor. Of the many sensors on this model vehicle, the TDC sensor failure is common and is one of the few sensor failures that will disable your vehicle.

Check engine light comes on (Oxygen Sensor "Pending"), go's on and off. ???? 06 Kia Spectra 5-speed

I have a 2006 Kia Spectra hatchback 4D. It was a show room car and I'm leasing it since March 2009. The engine light comes on and off intermentaly. I took it in the Kia dealership in Calgary AB many twice and first time they said it was a part they needed flown in. Same issue after the part was tested, now they say they need to look at the wiring so they need take the engine out. I had it hooked up at Jiffy Lube free of charge and they said it was O2 sensory issue, take it to a mechanic and get it fixed there. Jiffy people said that dealerships dont care about the maintenance aspect of cars. They recommended me to take it to mechanics. Shouldn't the KIA people have picked up on the O2 sensor since its a computer diagnostic reading ?

2006 Kia Sedona's check engine light

try not to fill up the tank while the car is running. maybe there is a bad seal on the gas cap now. i would simply reccomend taking it to the nearest advanced auto part, autozone, jiffy lube...anything of that matter and get them to read the code for you[they should do it for free]. Make sure to write it down, come back here and let me know what it said. its probably not a big deal
