Ford focus tdi 2000

Engine cut out while driveing,turned the key and car started up,two weeks later car just stalled and now wont start.took car to fords said it was diesel pump.looked for fuel cut off switch but been taken out thought could be a immobaliser problem.

car loses power while driveing but when i turn it off and re start it goes fine until the next time

Ford dealers just started working on fords yesterday and I guess that is enough reason not to believe them. You need to ask somebody that that does not work on fords and maybe you will believe them. This will only cost you more money.

Ford do have them on the passanger side below glove box bhind the pannel on the door side take off the pannel and have a look

Fuel pressure [roblem? Lazy fuel pump, fuel filter fed up? If diesel, Infection pump pressure regulator? Have rail pressure chk'd. If illter is overdue, change it If ford can't fix it yhere is always the LEMON LAW!!! MAKE SURE YOU KEEP ALL REPAIR ATTEMPT DOCUMENTATION. tHIS SOUNDS LIKE A CONSUMER SAFETY ISSUE.hAVE ONLY THE FORD DEALER ATTEMPT REPAIRS. qUALITY IS jOB ONE! qUALITY IS jOB 1 !

Sometimes my car wont start when I turn the key, no noise no nothing. If I come back to the car 8 hours later it will start and then the problem may not happen again for a week or month????help!!!

The theft system may not be reading key. Remave key and try again. Key or sensor trouble.

are you using the original key for the car because it sounds like a theft system problem I had a 2000 jeep that did the same thing it would start for a bit and then quit on me found out that the key has a chip in it so the key i got cut works for the lockes but cant use to run the car
