Whenever it is raining outside or is wet my truck seems like it does not want to accelerate. It'll be fine for about a half mile or so then just sort of bog for a few seconds then kick back in. It only does it once or twice then stops and is especially common when accelerating. I checked the wires already and they are fine and the intake has no water in it. I know my fuel filter needs changing real bad and is pretty rusty, could this possibly be getting water in it and causing this problem?
Change the fuel filter. If that doesn't do it then focus on the ignition components. See if there is a code in the computer, clear it and re-read it.

Souns like a leak is allowing water into the cabin area, there may have been a leak in the firewall but it looks like it's coming in from somewhere else. Take a look at the rubber door seal in the drivers side door jam and check it for damage or possibile leak area's, if you find a leak here it can be sealed with silicone or you can replace the entire dorr seal. The only other possibility for the leak would be the seal around the windshield, also check this and seal with silicone if a leak is deteteced.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: car jerks when accelerating
The jerking can be your MAFE SENSOR. aRE YOUTELLING ME YOU ARE GOING TOTAKE OFF YOUR AIR INTAK DUCTING AND GO TO A METAL SECTION WJERE THE SENSOR IS LICATE ABD THAT ONCE YOU LOCATE IT YOU ARE GOING TO SPRAY WASH IT THOROUHHLY WITH CRC ELECTRICAL CLEANER SPRAY THAT THEY SELL AT A PARTS STORE. nOW, iF YOU ARE GOING TO DO ALL THAJUST DON'T BRUSHM RUB, OR OTHERWISE TOUCH THE SENSOR. tHE CLEANER WILL DRY QUICKLY SO YOU WON' NEED COMPRESS AIR THAT WOULD DAMAGE IT, tHEY SRE DELICATE, SENSITIVE AND LIKE A WOMAN, VERY EXPENSIVE. gOOD lUCK AND LET NE GLOW IF ALL WOTKS OUT NED
SOURCE: I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant with rough idle
I am having the same issue on Mitsubishi Galant 02. Clattering on acceleration, herky jerky idle. Pulled a code multiple cylinder misfire. My mechanic's diagnosis is bad valve cover gasket causing oil to seap into the spark plugs and bad timing belt, which I have not replaced at 150k miles. I do however know my fuel injectors do need cleaning, he hasn't ruled that out either. Have you pulled any code on it? I have read on engine knock sensor going out on some of these also. Hope this helps some.

I'm sorry I have no solution. The exact sane thing is wrong with mine. I have a 2004 ford focus. It shakes like crazy when I'm trying to go but as soon as I reach a consistent speed it fine. Same story going uphill. Also seems to drive better after driving for awhile except when I go uphill. It started doing this yesterday!
