Radiator capacity I would like to know the radiator capacity of my 93 saturn sc 2

The SL is the small 4 door
The SC is the 2 door Sport Coupe
The numbers refer to the engine. The all have a 1.9 liter. "1" is a Single Over Head Cam, 8th VIN will be an "8". "2" is the Dual Over Head Cam, 8th VIN will be a "7"

So a Saturn SL2 with be a 4 door with a DOHC 1.9 liter. SL1 will be a 4 door with a SOHC 1.9 liter. SC2 will be a 2 door with a 1.9 liter DOHC. SC1 will be a 2 door with a 1.9 liter SOHC.

sounds like a head gasket in the first stages

The plug is plastic; if it came out, you can probably engineer a quick fix. I don't recall being able to replace just the plug on mine; but I needed to replace the radiator anyway. If you have the plug; I'd try to slip it back in. It has a groove on one side to allow it to twist; normally it twists open and then back closed.

look on ebay or call around to local junkyards and see if they have a 93 SC. If they have any go look and see if that part is still there..

Several reasons. Chances are you need the radiator rodded. Or it could be a blown head gasket. Try starting the vehicle cold when the cap is off. if it spews like a geiser then it is highly possible blown head gasket

There is nothing special you need to do. Simply remove the mounting screws, disconnect the power leads, and remove the fan.

You should see it if you stand in front of car, look at the belts behind radiator fan, look to the top of those belts and it should be to the left with a belt hooked to it.

A/C Condensor?? Located In front of Radiator.

cloged heater core........ pull a hose off and run a garden hose to clear it out do it in both directions

Open the hood if it says efiohc or single cam on the valve cover then it is a sc1 if it says dohc or twin cam than it is an sc2
