I have a 2003 Cavalier. The Cigarette Lighter is not working. This is going to sound really bad, but I think it's because when I was cleaning the inside of the car I sprayed a cleaner on the dash and...

Yes this very well could be the issue. The fuse you might want to check is in the fuse panel inside the vehicle. You need to open the drivers side door and the fuse panel is on the side of the dash (there is a picture below of the location. Also there is a picture below of the fuse layout. The fuse that you want to check is the one marked "CIG" in the diagram. I hope this helps and good luck.

Cigarette lighter quit working - is there a fuse that I can check.

I suggtes check the position CIG LTR for Cigarette Lighter. The underhood fuse block in the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle near the battery. Lift the cover for access to the fuse/relay block.

To remove fuses, hold the end of the fuse between your thumb and index finger and pull straight out.

Also, in this link could donwnload the Owner's Manual for the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Hope this helps to solve it (remember to rate and commene this answer).

Need location of fuse box containing cigarette lighter fuse

On some vehicles the cigarette lighter fuse is attached to the cigarette lighter assembly itself. Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. There should be a diagram under the fusebox cover that shows what circuits each fuse protects. If a fuse has blown ensure that another of the same type and value is used to replace it.

Where do I find the fuse box for the 2005 Toyota, Camry? Is there a separate fuse for the cigarette lighter located in the center console?

generall a vehicle will have two fuse boxes. one is generally on the drivers side under the dash or in the kick panel down by your left foot. The second fuse box is located under the hood near the battery generally. Between those two locations you can usually find all the fuses you might need to replace.Your owner's manual should have diagrams for both fuse boxes.

ACCESSORY POWER OUTLETS

I have a 2004 ION and the fuse is located behind the drivers side center console kick panel. The panel can be removed by tristing the large blastic screw near the left top of the kick panel. You can use a coin to do it. Once the panel is off relace fuse F20 and your god to go.
