What year, what engine options, what country?
is this a how too question, a DIY question>?
or a statement,
this is covered 100% in the FSM for your car, your engine and your country.
if by chance, (gee i dont know) you can use alldata.com for USA cars, if USA car. or mitchels, or go to Honda and get the book.
Removing the head is not a simple matter.
its a grade 8 of 10 skill level matter.
did you know it must be staged torqued, off and them back on?
about 82 steps, on my last head pull.... i logged them for a friend.
but the FSM covers this, no need to repeat that.
nut shell? (generic) Cold engine.
1: battery neg lug off 1st then PLUS lug last (in that order)
2: intake and exh, manifolds removed or retracted.
3: valve cover off,
4: drain coolant.
5: drop cam belts. at TDC 0 , #1 firing, (marks aligned (FSM)
6: all hoses removed from head.
7: head is now only connected to the block.
8: unstage the head bolts, using the FSM page loosen them in order state, 10ft/lbs each , 1 by one , staging the head off.
this method prevents warping a good head.
or log in to
alldata.com and read, (both are virtual FSMs)
or at mitchels.
FSM = factory service manual.
