My 1998 ford escort wagon keeps blowing the brake light fuse when brand pedai is depressed, have already changed the brake pedai switch.

In order to blow the fuse, you must have a short circuit to ground somewhere between the output of the stop light switch and the stop lights in the rear of the car. You will need to isolate these lamps to determine where the short is. If a were a betting man, I'd say the best bet is that the short may well be in the tailgate where the wire come from the body into the tailgate. This is usually near a hinge (the center stop light is in the tailgate). Since these wires move every time you open and close the hatch, they are more likely to beak and short out.

What causes fuses to blow after there replaced.

A fuse blows when there is too much current drawn thru it. Let's say it is for the radio. If the radio is turned off and the fuse blows immediately then the power wire to the radio has a bare spot somewhere and is touching the metal of the car or the power wire is touching the negative wire. If it blows when you turn it on then the radio has a short inside or a malfunction causing it to draw too much current.
Let's say it is for the dome light. If you put the fuse in with the door closed and the dome light is set for DOOR and blows right away then the short is in the wire leading to the door switch or the switch is shorting out, letting + touch the - metal body of the car. The entire body is negative. That is why there is usually only one big thick black wire on the battery for negative. If the fuse blows when the door is opened, then the switch is probably shorting out, or the wires going to the dome light.
Generally when the fuse blows when you turn something on, then whatever you are turning on is probably junk, unless it is a stereo that draws too much power for the thickness of the wire, or the stereo is junk.

Radio fuse keeps blowing in my 97 acura rl

The only thing you can do is to trace the circuits that are powered by that fuse. Nobody can do that online. I would recommend getting a wiring diagram if you are going to try to figure it out yourself. You will need a multimeter that can read amperage also.

Air bag light is on 96 grand caravan

i may be mistaken on if this applies to your model year but if the rear wiper does not work then check the fuse for rear wiper and replace if blown. make sure rear wiper switch is off and wiper is parked.if air bag light goes out after a few seconds then the rear wiper motor is bad causing fuse to blow. air bag module gets power for its fuse through wiper fuse.if wiper is not parked then fuse may blow when you turn yhe key on.you have two choices. replace wiper motor or remove tailgate door panel and unplug the motor
