We have a 2004 Kia Sedona. On a road trip yesterday, I turned on the heat in the rear and my son was complaining that it was blowing cold air. He put his hand in front of all the rear vents (2 in the center row and 2 in the 3 row seating). All of the rear vents were blowing cool/ cold air. We checked the dials in the front- rear heat fan was on high and AC button NOT activated. Checked the adjustment settings in the rear and all were where they should have been. Heat was on and working very well in the driver/passenger area in front.

I have a 2006 yukon and have had to replace the actuator in the rear heat/ac twice. It moves a valve that closes the cold/hot ducts. It is a cheap defective part/design.
SOURCE: heat works on driver side, passenger side blows cold air.
Did you check your coolant level or was it low and you added to it at some point? If so the system my need to be bleed or worst case the thermostat is going bad.

There are seperate blowers for the front and rear air. It is most likely either your blower motor or the resistor, both located under the passenger side dash. I got a blower from a salvage yard for $25, But ended up having to get the resister from the dealership for about $130. Hope this helps.

Sounds like there is a crack in the vent that leads to the drivers side, and hot air from the engine is leaking through.

Are you aware of any codes that may stored in the body control module and do you hear a clicking or ticking noise in the rear?
When I turn on the heat in my 2004 mazda mpv the front air vents blow heat but the rear air vents are blowing cold. I have adjusted every setting is there something I am overlooking.
