I've been there.... A nightmare!!!

Your prolem sounds as the classical Hot Coil problem with no solution. Next time when engine stalls, check for spark, touch the coil and the ignition module. If they feel hot to the touch (can't hold it), chances are there is too much resistance in the High Tension side of the ignintion circuit.
This means the circuit from the coil to the spark plugs has too much resistance. Since you already changed everything I have to ask a question: Is everything as original specs??

When I had this problem it resulted that the gap between the terminals of the distributor cap (new) and rotor where to big, This created great resistance which heated the coil and quit sending spark.

Perhaps there is something in the High Tension circuit which is out of original specs. Is the gap in spark plugs correct?
Try an old distibutor cap. Do the metal contacts in the spark plug cables touch the metal of the spark plug contact?
Does the metal contact from the cable touch the metal from the coil's contact? Are they dry?

Check things which can create a gap where electriciy has to "jump" to complete its way to the spark plug. These are the ones which cause the hot coil and hot module trouble.

Sounds like it has jumped timing, dont know which engine you have so could be chain or belt.

SOURCE: 1991 honda accord "no spark"

There is a relay mounted way up under the dash on the driver side. It is about 1"x1"x2" and it says Mitsuba on it. This is the PGMFI relay, sometimes called the main relay or fuel injection relay. It is very likely the problem. You can buy another one, or there was a bulletin on how to repair it. You need to take it out, pop the cover off, and resolder the cracked solder joints on the pc board that the relays are mounted on. Really not that hard if you have a little soldering experience. If not, just buy another one, about 50 bucks.cb28323.jpg

It sounds to me like you replaced everything but the most likely cause of a stall while driving...The crank sensor.

PO345 is the cam shaft positioning sensor and PO325 is the knock sensor. Check your starter and your battery.

Location of knock sensor on a 1996 Nissan Altima GXE engine?

The knock sensor is underneath the intake manifold on the rear of the engine.
If you got an engine check code from Autozone or some other goof ball company like that go and get a full tank of the highest quality gas and see if that fixes the problem.

2002 Altima 2.5 is now giving me problems like it doesn't want to start...it is not the alternator, battery or starter. Very frustrating because it starts when it wants to..

I would be looking towards the crank angle sensor failure. Its located right above the passenger side drive shaft, where it goes into the trans. Good luck

1999 Altima will not start, no power to Crank Position Sensor

The crank sensor is only a reference and shouldn't cause it not to start. I would look elsewere for your problem ie camshaft position sensor which is built into the distributor. This is amore likely cause of your no start condition.

My 97 nissan altima is occasionally stalling out when I come to a stop. When this does happen it acts as if the engine is starving for fuel as I start it and for 10 or 15 minutes afterwards - it studders...

This happened to my 1997 Altima GXE a couple years ago. The coolant sensor is bad ($30-40 part). The coolant sensor is reading that the temp is cool on a warmed up engine and actually causes the engine to run rich (thinking it is a cold engine). The problem is intermittant and happened at the worse times.

Where is coolant temp sensor and knock sensor on 95 nissan maxima

Mine usually stalled coming out the driveway. I went thru replacement of 6 coils and plugs with almost no improvement on my 2000 maxima. Ultimately the mass air flow sensor was replaced. All the engine codes from check engine light would make you think the engine needs overhaul, due to the nature of resultant bad engine performance. You can buy maf sensor $100 online. 5 minutes to install it. I tried cleaning it, but it made no difference until I replaced it. After that it was like 50 more horsepower.
