Probably have air in the fuel line not letting any fuel getting past, it will collect at the highest point..
If you have inline filter replace with a drill pump to suck fuel along pipe, or to force fuel back to tank, you will also need to fill the part that is post filter point
I assume the pump was replaced because it was getting power but no fuel pressure ? Are you still not getting fuel pressure ? Spark to the plugs ? Normal compression when cranking the engine ? Security light not staying on ?
What have you checked so far ? Is it getting spark to the plugs ? Can you spray starting fluid into the throttle body and get it to start ? Have you checked fuel pressure at the injectors ?
if you can put fuel in throttle body and it runs. then it is not getting any fuel. check your fuel pump fuse and the relay, if ok, then you may have a bad fuel pump or a plugged up fuel filter. check filter and fuses first. good-day !!
Are you getting fuel? if the pump is out then you won't get fuel and it won't start. Check for fuel at the throttle body under the air cleaner also pull a plug and connect it to the wire and ground it to the engine block to see if your getting spark. try this and let me know. I suspect the fuel pump since these last around 8-10 years before they just quit.
you need to determine if its a no spark or no fuel problem.check to see if you have spark at the plug.if so then you will need to see if its getting fuel.check this when it won`t start as when its working its pointless.to check for fuel you can spray intake cleaner into the intake when it won`t start,if it does then stalls when it has burnt what you sprayed then its a fuel problem.the pressure will have to be checked with a gage to get a proper reading.the pressure should be about 35 lbs.pumps are a common problem with this year.if no spark then you will have to find what component is causing the no spark.
check fuel pump fuse and relay.it is in fuse box behind ash tray.relay will be furthest to left on the second row.if fuse and relay is good.you have a faulty fuel pump.
