My 6 CD player broke in my car in less than 2 years, to top it off the CD's are still all stuck in there, sadly modern electronics are rarely repairable and the only option is to install a completely new unit. The good side is that my friend of https://24hwritemyessays.com/ to help me after market players are often much better in sound quality and durability than the stock units installed at the factory.
if its a ford or mazda 6 disc they are very complicated and virtually unrepairable. Pretty common failure they seem to last 80-100,000 miles and then brake.
be looking at radio fuses replace if blown then recheck..does the radio work? if it does then micro switches in the radio casing were compromised when those cds were jammed in it..
if you can not eject cartridge
PRESS AND HOLD EJECT BUTTON
Insert credit card or similar under cartridge push fully in and move under cartridge, this will locate micro switch and eject
Then you can check discs
I just acquired the same problem. I tried to put a new CD in and it wouldn't take it. I ended up pushing it in when I was trying to get it back out and now it won't play the CD, or eject it. I think it could be stuck between tracks, but they want $188 to look at it and fix it even if it is a simple fix. I am looking for suggestions also,
Diane
check the wires in the back to ensure there is no cut or torn wires this is a common problem with all cd changers you will need to take apart the cd changer there is a lever connected to s spring which will unlock the cds
