2007 Nissan Almera Dip Lights Problem

no year told, no country , no car told just raw engine
QG18 comes in many types QG18DD,,1999 to 04
QG18DE, 1999 to 2007 QG18DEN is the natural gas version?

lacking all key facts.
I go GENERIC (full bore)

the answer is super simple..
causes spark misfire. (and scanned PCM see P03xx errors DTC)

loss of engine horse power. and wasted fuel.
or engine dead. fully and no spark at ALL.

why worry it at all.??? if scans are clean this is it if CKP does not trip CKP errors DTC

must we guess all of these and if yes why?

the CKP and CMP sensors are the base line inputs for all spark and fuel injections and timing and timing advance of spark
if spark dies the PCM cuts all fueling dead( no crash&burns)

There is a relay but the most common issue is the headlight switch

Feb 19, 2007 - Last night I went to drive home, switched the alarm off, unlocked the ...Remove negative terminal on battey for 3 minutes to reset your alarm.

No one is labeled tail an dash are labeled illum

There are 3 Fuse panels in a 1.5 Almera : 2 are located in the engine bay beside LH+RH Main Lights,and both are Engine related,
The other is located below LH dashboard, once pulled a Grey Pocket.t(1.6 does no longer exist since 2000, by least in Europe)

Did you have the battery load tested? do that first. Remember just because you charged it that doesn't mean the battery is any good.

Check the brake light function. If the lights work then replace the shift lock solenoid. If they don't work then replace the brake light switch and retry.

Check the brake light switch under the dash at the brake peddle and make sure its working if it does not close when you depress the brake peddle the lights will not work You may hve to remove the lower cover for the dash to get at the switch
