I'm a novice when it comes to cars. The guys at the parts store said the starter is under the car passenger side next to the transmission. On the web it says you can see the starter in the gap by the engine and the battery and the transmission. Do I need to take off the air filter and hose?
Here's a youtube video on the 1993. I found some other years but not the 1991.

SOURCE: installing a Nissan Sentra Passenger Side Manual Non Folding Mirror.
had to install a driver side non folding mirror, fairly simply to say the least. There's a cover on the interior of the door, near the window, remove the cover, remove the 3 screws, need i believe a 10mm socket. If a power window, unhook the circuit. Replace new mirror.
