If the actuator itself needs replacing it will depend on which engine is fitted as to how difficult it will be to replace. The four cylinder engines, (1.8 litre), are reasonably easy to do as they are both right at the front of the engine. The V6 engines can be a little bit more tricky as you will have 4 to deal with.
The bell housing is only the metal part that connects the gearbox to the engine munless this is cracked or damaged then what ever youve hanged it for isnt going to work
