Here is my "take" on the P1698 code:
The P1698 code means that no digital data is being received by the powertrain controller from the transmission control module, located on the right inner fender. The manual says to check the ccd bus wires between the module and the rest of the system using the Chrysler diagnostic readout box. But if you don't have one then I think you can do the same thing by measuring for continuity (near 0 resistance) between pin 4 of its plug and pin 11 of the data link plug under the dash or pin 59 of the powertrain controller plug.
Then check the resistance between pin 43 if its plug and pin 3 of the data link connector or pin 60 of the powertrain controller plug. The powertrain controller is on the opposite side of the engine compartment on the left inner fender. These module plugs are held in place by a bolt. If the continuity between the transmission and the powertrain CCD wires checks to be ok, then according to the manual the trans controller should be replaced. You may be smart however to find an honest shop that has a code reader and let them determine for sure that it is the TCM and not the Powertrain control module (PCM) that is the fault. These modules are expensive enough that you would not want to replace the wrong one.
The other symptoms (1-3) are likely related to the problem because they are also dependent on the digital data communication bus for getting their instructions or sending their information. The passenger side window is probably not related to this, but rather a failed connection, switch or motor.

How to get limp mode off with code P1698 on 2000 Chrysler town and country.

You should NOT be driving this vehicle if it is in limp mode. You will need to pay a Good Auto-electrician to look at this problem.
All modern cars and trucks are fitted with electronic control units referred to as the PCM and the TCM. P1698 refers to these units not communicating properly with each other. So the vehicle goes into a safety set up until the problem it fixed, Limp Mode.

My 2000 sebring will stall and not restart while driving

The searing stalls and will not start right. This can be cause by low fuel pressure problem or bad timing belt or problem with ECM(the cars computer) it self. Also if you notice that check engine light is coming on and remaining steady ON,then get the car scanned to retrieve the error codes. That error code will point towards the fault causing this problem. Click this link for more troubleshooting:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/10/why-car-stalls-while-driving.html ---------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I took my 2002 chrysler sebring in for a tune-up today after it began flashing engine light and stalling on me today. What does the code p1698 mean?

The 1698 code means either that there is no digital data communication from the the transmission controller OR from the body controller that is being received at the powertrain control module. An analyzer that read "hex" codes would distinguish which, the former being a 60 the latter a 61 hex code.

2002 chrysler sebring 2.7 v6 elictrical problem???

Sounds like a charging system issue. Just because the alternator itself tested fine doesn't mean it's getting power to the car and battery. Charge the battery and start the car (with everything connected normally, including alternator). While car is idling, disconnect the battery (negative post wI'll do). If car dies, there's a problem with the alternator wiring/harness. Once the vehicle is running, the alternator should provide plenty of power. Check voltage at battery (from alternator) and should be around 14V. Check alternator fuse.
Could be the voltage regulator in the alternator going out, which would need a new alternator.

Code p1698 for a 1998 chrysler concorde 2.7 i dont know what it means and noone seems to be able to tell me

Code p1698 means there is no digital data being recieved from the transmission control module to the power train or the other way around.
Take it and have the wire harness checked between the two modules, might have bad connection or bad wire. Also have the two modules checked, one might be bad.
They are expensive, so it's best to find out which one is bad, if it's not a bad wire, or dirty connection.

Code p1684 2002 chrysler

Check, tighten & clean all battery connections & Have your battery tested.Load tested. Usually a weak, or defective battery will cause this code to come up also. While they're at it, have them test charging system. My guess is autozone will check it free or cheap, if you buy the new battery there if required. Have you noticed it turning over maybe a little slower when starting occassionally?
