How to fix widw that wont go up motor is fine seems to be off its track

need to remove the door panel and check the tracks or for debris in track

Window regulator needs replacement

look in the track that the seat moves on and make sure nothing is in its way

Check the sunroof motor track see if there is an instruction or maby something is off track

If you take the motor off, you will see a metal cover behind the gear, inside that cover is some plastic gears that have rubber insulators. Most likely those insulators are broken up and when you put a load on the motor such as working the window, the insulators allow the two gears to disengage. Look on ebay for ford window motor repair kit.

IF THE MOTOR IS STILL FINE A ON TRACK IT HAS TO BE ELEC. SO PUSH THE UP SWITCH VERY FAST ALOT OF TIMES TO SEE IF IT GETS A CONNECTION. IF SOAND IT MOVES ITS THE SWITCH IF NOT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO GET TO THE MOTOR PULL PLUG OFF PUSH SWITCH AND SEE IF IT IS GETTING ELEC THERE

There are plastic gears connecting the track to the seat assembly. Whne one of these strip the seat will only work or move to one side. Infiniti does not sell a simple fix. You are looking at buying an entire seat assembly complete with the module for all the electronics. It will be at a cost of around $950 - $1000. Once that is in, Infiniti must program the seat to the brain of the car, only then can you reset your memory settings.

the track is bent. the more you operate it the worse it will get. its easier to change the door than the track.

When the window falls down it is because the cable for the regulator and motor broke. The only fix is a new regulator/motor assembly from the dealership, or a good one from the junk yard if you can find one.

if the motor is working fine and i could be some rivits missing that hold your track up and in place for the window to operated properly check that see if there is any broken pieces lying in the bottom of your door.
