Usually this is caused by a binding blend or mode door. The actuator keeps trying to move it and can't. Locate the exact source of the noise. Then disconnect the actuator and try opening and closing the door by hand.

Sounds like the roof/floor actuator internal gear is stripped. The only way to fix it is to replace it. Remove the cup holder in the right rear trim panel. remove the 8mm bolts holding actuator and replace.

SOURCE: clicking and drumming noise when air or heat is turned on

no recalls, it's probably the cage on your blower motor, either its broke or there is something in there...i.e..rodents

SOURCE: I have a 04 Ford Expedition...the rear heater

This sounds like a stripped gear in an air door actuator. simple to replace and costs about 40 dollars. It is located on the passenger side behind the large interior wheel well cover.

I have a 2003 Ford expedition Eddie bauer. Seat in third row stuck down and there's a constant clicking noise in right rear panel. I know my cuz took motor out. Can I bring seat back up without...

The clicking noise sounds like your blend door actuator. Try turning your AC/Heat OFF and see if it stops (give it a minute to travel in position). The actuator is a common failure in the Expys, costs about $50 to replace. You will have to remove the right rear panel to replace it - a few screws and a couple of bolts (where the seat belt attaches).
As for the seat not working, not sure about this. I would make sure the wiring harness is hooked up and the fuse is not blown. See your owners manual for fuse location.

If the noise is coming from the rear with rear A/C it sounds like you have a mode door actuator bad, same if noise is coming from front in dash. Have seen this before. In the rear you will have to remove pass. rear cargo area side panel, you have 2 actuators back there just feel which one is making noise, one on top is mode door and one on side of A/C case is temp. door. Hope this helps.

Vibrating noise coming from either the engine or underneath

When the constant velocity joints are worn out. this is what u ussually get.

car vibrates if one or both are worn out. and vibration will increase as speed increases.

car will make a popping or tapping or clicking sound when steering.

Or they might just need lubrication too.
CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINTS ARE LOCATED JUST UNDER THE SHOCKS.....IT LOOKS LIKE A WORM LIKE PLASTIC COVERING A SHAFT.

hope this helps XD
