Try this it may work put key in ignition and turn to number 2 ( lights on dash) press the fob button on the key. doors should lock, then turn back off to 0, then press the fob button again the doors should open then try to start engine. if all works again but the alarm keeps going off randomly, the power sounder battery may be flat, it can be charged when the system is working again. but sometimes it can get damaged. and it may need to be changed. as I dont know what the sound is coming from under you hood Im thinking it could be this.

Normally you can open the back seat from inside the truck. Look for a rear seat release somewhere.

the key lost synchronization with the the computer. its a common problem with these new high security systems they're very sensitive. this made the battery die, next step is to take the car to the dealer, dont try to start the car anymore. if you have any questions call Priority Automotive Locksmith 866 999 7858

How do I disarm anti theft device on a 2001 ford taurus

SEE THE STEPS WITH CAREFULLY AND COMMON SENSE:God bless you
Press the unlock button on your vehicle's key fob to deactivate the alarm. If you've misplaced your remote for the car, use the PATS programmed key to unlock the driver's side door. Then, put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. The vehicle's battery should be on, but the engine shouldn't be running.

  • 2 Locate the override button on the alarm box, beneath the driver's side of the dashboard. Press the button and hold it in until the alarm beeps one time. The LED light for the alarm should stop blinking, indicating the anti-theft system is disabled.

  • 3 To reset the vehicle's alarm, put the PATS programmed key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. Press the override button. When the alarm resets, it chirps two times and the LED light begins blinking.

2001 ford taurus wont start and anti-theft light is blinking

Either you may be using a key that you had copied from the original or your chip went bad in your original key. Most of cars now a days have the key censor in the key so if it is the incorrect key it will not start your car or if it does not read that chip it will not start
