Hi,My Ford Fiesta Titanium is 2 weeks old. The built in SATNAV has suddenly stopped working properly. The visible message received is "Vehicle is of the map. Please insert he appropriate storage medium containing the navigation data. I have tried removing and reinserting the SD card (delaer advice) but to no avail. I also receive an audible message that says "please navigate to a digitised road". The unit also displays 'no GPS signal' at the bottom.
Have you tryed your sony help line?

Hi kuldipdhanja this sounds like it could be an internal fault with the video module or the sat nav drive, you could try discontecting the battery negative lead for 15 minutes to reset the control units, you will have to remove the spare wheel and unfasten the air compressor bracket to get to the battery, this fix may only be temporary but it is alot cheaper than replacing parts. regards mark.

You answered me that if there is not 2 CD slots, i will not have a GPS receiver for navigation, but also u aked one more question if my BMW car was US one, and i answered by Yes.
Waiting for another answer again.
Now I plan to borrought from any BMW owner i will find on the road, and who will have any DVD navigation disc, to insert it in my BMW and look for settings and fetch to know if i have a GPS receiver and what model .... if any..
The prime dealer in Lebanon will not help me fetching this, that's why i went for you..or for any friends i will find on the roads....

I had the same problem with the suspension on an o2 X5 Sport,it was the stabiliser pump in the rear,Range rover is the same pump and is cheaper than the BMW part,they also do an exchange unit.

Mercedes commans sat nav version 4.1 for E220, is saying off road, and when at home is showing on map that I am somewhere in the National Park Peak District. I have been told to remove fuse for sat nav should be no 28 but in boot of car near sat nav cassette fuses in box only go upto 20. Am I looking in the right place?

another thought is try disconnecting the battery for and hour or 2 and see if that resets it,your last resort may be (hate to say it ) dealer to look at it
