There is more than one intake valve on your engine. 6 cylinders have 6 intake valves and 8 cylinders have 8 valves. They are located inside the engine and allow the air-fuel mixture to enter the cylinder. Why are you looking for it?
Sraying intake cleaner into the air filter tubing leading to the engine may not fix your problem. Sometimes dirt can build up and spraying can help. Do this with the air filter removed and engine running. Hope this helps you.Moe
When this problem shows up do you have a "check engine" light come on ? If so, then the code could put you in the right direction. Let me know what happens.

my 1988 Jimmy truck is stalling when I stop - I read that I needed to remove the air intake hose 2 the engine and spray a can of intake cleaner the intake while keeping the engine running - But I dont know where all of that is. I know I can do it if I just knew where the intake was and where the hoses are.
Okay spraying the intake cleaner into the intake did not help for my 88 GMC Jimmy Blazer. Does anyone have anything else I could try to fix this stalling when I stop. It runs fine on the expressway - but come to a stop sign and it wants to quit on me.
