a flashing check light usually means a problem needs to be attended to right away most auto store such as advanced auto/auto zone etc offer free scanning to trouble code will give u a start location so u can make repairs if necessary
Take the vehicle to Auto Zone, advanced Auto parts or o'Rieley's Auto parts and ask them to use their scanner to read the stored Code from the ECM for you.
Stop by your local Advance Auto or O'Reilly Auto parts store. They will lend (Advance Auto) or rent you a Scan Tool to see what error codes have been set in the cars onboard computer. This should help diagnosis what happened when the Check Engine light went. Not sure why it went on then off. They usually stay on until you clear the codes...
Good Luck +
yeah i have disconnected the battery and the auto light is still flashing...Oh yesterday after posting the topic my friend suggested that i changed the dryer and expansion valve and flush the system which i did but still the light flashes and the gauge readings are showing that the system is ok so i know its not any restriction in the system, could it be an electrical problem?????????
