Zach, guess what? It doesn't have one. I went around and around with this very same issue with a local car parts supplier. Yes one shows up on the list of parts for this year and engine... it is all done through the pick-up coil and ignition module in the distributor. Tell me more about your problem. I have tons of experience on this make, year and model.

try google and ask the question "where is the location of the crankshaft position sensor for 1997 chysler cirrus 2.5 liter engine" or you can go to a parts store and ask for there help, or buy a repair manual it will show you the location.

On 1997 Chrysler Sebring 2.5L MFI 6cyl...
- the PCM is located in the left side of the engine compartment, beside the Power Distribution Center (PDC).

- the Crankshaft Position Sensor is located: under hood, driver side, upper engine area, mounted on end of engine block

The Crankshaft Position Sensor is located under hood, center, rear engine area, mounted onpassenger side rear of cylinder head.

The crankshaft sonsor is located between the timing cover and the harmoinc balancer on the passenger side of the engine.
